Sadness Event

Experiential Design (year 1)

Delivered:

Photography / 3D model making / Prototypes

Skills:

Research / Photography / Model Building / Miro / Cinema 4D / Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge

Project Summary

There will be a fictional conference about human emotion. I had to design the space for the event, a gift, and packaging around my assigned emotion (sadness). The emotion design solution had to be abstract.

My Approach

I researched sadness and experiential design through the use of photography, 3D model making, and internet searches. I chose to create my sadness event focusing on inspiring the feelings of loneliness, loss. I created a cold, dull, sterile environment with a gift that inspired feelings of regret and despair.

Audience

Business or charity event organisers.
